Northeast Florida Chapter #250 is a patriotic, nonpartisan, Veterans Service Organization (VSO) dedicated to promoting patriotism, civic responsibility, public service, and leadership in our nation’s communities. Northeast Florida #250 is a chapter of the Military Order of the World Wars (MOWW) in the Jacksonville, Florida - First Coast Area extending as far south as St. Augustine and East to the Lake City area.

Vision: To be the preeminent Veterans Service Organization in the First Coast Area of Jacksonville, Florida

Mission: Actively serving the needs of, support of, and recognition of excellence in Youth and Community.

What We Do

Northeast Florida #250 MOWW Chapter's outreach programs span the Jacksonville, Florida Area and involve hosting patriotic education programs and ceremonies, recognizing excellence in Senior and Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps cadets, sponsoring activities and speakers involving national and homeland security issues, honoring public safety and law and order professionals, and sponsoring and restoring monuments and memorials.

In concert with those with whom we have Resolutions of Cooperation, we work with other like-minded organizations, e.g., the Joe Foss Institute, Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts of the USA, National Society of Pershing Rifles, to host a variety of activities and events ranging from youth education to recognition of excellence. These events and activities also include MOWW's many award and excellence recognition programs involving students, educational organizations, public officials, and more.
